Jazz chord progressions – lesson 8

The eight part in the jazz lesson series will present the ii - V - I structure in minor. A new chord type, the minor 7th flat 5th, will be seen in the progression that follows. When the ii - V - I progression is transposed into minor, the V chord can be minor or dominant – in this case it's dominant.
