Capo 2 chords
Capo on the second fret raise the key a whole step. For example, a song in C major will now be in D major. A capo on the second fret will also create possibilities to play chords with F# and B as the root note in easier fingerings in contrast to the bar fingerings. For example, F# can be played with an E shape and B can be played with an A shape (see diagrams below).

What happens in capo 2?
Concerning the common open chords, the capo on first fret will change chord as follows:
C > D
Am > Bm
D > E
E7 > F#7
Gmaj7 > Amaj7
This is just a few examples.
Which means, among other things, that the key of A, for example, will shift to the key of B with capo on the second fret.
