Intermediate chord progressions – lesson 2
The second part of the lesson series intermediate continues with a chord progression with descending bass lines accomplished by so-called slash chords (the Am7/G can also be seen as an inverted chord). Notice the bass line movement on the fifth and sixth strings: C, B, A, G, F, G.
Progression:
C C/B | Am Am7/G | F | G
1st bar | 2nd bar | 3rd bar | 4th bar
Repeats: 5 times
BPM: 80
Time signature: 4/4

This semi-barre F chord is easier than the full barre version. In this situation, however, the full barre is preferred since it better follows the bass line movement.
